Pastels on Black Paper

I was just adding the greeting card of the bicycle and the crab to my etsy shop when it occurred to me that this method of working is great fun for children. The cards are prints from original pastel drawings that were done on black paper. When you use the chalks on a dark surface the colors tend to really pop. So, even if you just have sidewalk chalk and black construction paper some really nice results can happen.
