Printmaking Collaboration with Children

Each rectangle of art was created by a different child at the school where I teach using a method of printing that uses a gelatin print. The children were all able to make several prints. I selected one from each child and mounted them on this canvas. We had an opening reception for the collaboration last night.

  1. hi Vicki- This is amazing! Can you tell me how you mounted the prints onto the canvas? what kind of adhesive did you use? We are doing something similar at my daughter's school. Thanks! taranight@hotmail.com

  2. They were not that easy to adhere. I imagine that it's due to the texture of the canvas. I used Tacky Glue. It's actually easier if you make color copies of the children's work and glue those to the canvas. The computer paper is lighter and easier to keep glued down. Sorry that I did not notice your question earlier.
