Burlap makes a great surface if you need to make a backdrop for a school play. I used diluted white glue to adhere the tree trunks to the burlap and then added the tissue paper leaves with a thread and needle. The length of the piece is close to six feet, I wasn't able to get a good photo of the entire piece without a wide angle lens.
